MIUI 12 Eligible Devices and Expected Date

Users have turned their eyes to MIUI 12 since the development of MIUI 11 ended on March 26. However, there is no official statement yet for MIUI 12. Assuming that the first closed test version will be released in April, we can see the Stable version in June or July. You can see some of the new features of MIUI 12 in the latest Beta version of MIUI 11.                           
MIUI 12 release date

Xiaomi will be launching MIUI 12 global stable ROM based on Android 11 and Android 10 by December 2020. However, the MIUI 12 beta program will start anytime soon now. Stay tuned for the downloads.

New Animations

Better animations have been added everywhere in the new version of MIUI. The home screen, lock screen, some apps have much better animations.

Application Openings

Application openings have a much smooth and stable opening.

Recent Apps

MIUI 12 has a bottom white bar on Android 10 and iOS. With this bar, you can make fast change between applications. In addition, recent applications animation has been renewed.

Privacy Enhancements

Alert Notifications

If an app is using your camera, location, and microphone in the background, a bubble will appear in the notification bar to alert you.
